Virtual Trade Show

As with any Educational Conference, we offer a Trade Show Center to allow visitors to tour various products and technologies.  We exhibit the latest in Vault Monitoring Software, Fire Suppression with clean agents that ensure “Zero” Residue in an activation.

Anytime we see a product that we find fascinating, we ask them to Exhibit.  Our goal is to keep adding products that improve the state of the art for Media Vaulting, Media Handling, Server Vaulting and Evaulting.

The SMVA is always investigating new technology.  Right now Hand-held Bar Code are enough. But RFID could be the wave of the future.  Although currently the 125KHz antennas are to easily read and systems hacked.  Certainly secure doors should not use them as yet as other can read and recreate the access control cards.  Doors that use the 125KHz are highly insecure.  According to Black Hat  reports, this technology still has some flaws and people who use it should investigate the effectiveness of their RFID frequencies.
