Disaster Recovery Centers

The overall goal of a Media Vault Center is to assure the client survives a short term or long term loss of data or access to data.  Many interesting service platforms have been offered for clients within the SMVA.

The simplest is to merely offer a “War Room” to meet your need for a location to address your immediate planning needs. A conference room, phones, work stations and a full office back up plan.  An area you can be comfortable in while you plan “Step 1 of the Recovery.”  Nothing soothes the panic of a near disaster like being near you offsite media, working with professionals who have a vested interest in your recovery.

From here the centers can be very customized and can be dedicated so that regional disasters will not affect your capabilities.

These centers can even provide the capability to move the Recovery site from one geographic area to another.  After all the FIRELOCK Network as well as the SMVA Centers stand ready to assist you.

Your media in Houston can be moved out of the way of the Hurricane and its aftermath to Dallas or Magnolia Arkansas.    If your Recovery site is in Phoenix or Philadelphia or Boston, an entire network of centers is tied together to present an option to you that no one else has the resources to offer you.
