The rise of Disk to Disk Mirroring has brought forth new ideas in business recovery.  The lowered cost of computer equipment, the reduction in size and the speed of transmission of information now allow corporations to use disk systems in different locations to become the main platform.

The SMVA network offers a simple and cost effective solution for its clients by serving as the mirror site for one set of the Disk Arrays or Server Vault.  It makes sense to keep one Server Vault running adjacent to the offsite media archive. When our Media Vaulting and E-vaulting solutions are combined, you do not have to waste time combining assets to recover as the assets are ready and waiting.

This operation is also covert in that your employees need not travel to this site. The minimal maintenance operations for an offsite mirror system can be handled by SMVA’s trained professionals. This eliminates the threat that an in-house employee can bring all systems down simultaneously.  This also reduces employee costs, and certain infrastructure equipment like generators, communication lines and other infrastructure that already exist.  This system is unique in that, your equipment on this site will be vaulted for hard shell protection and the facility it is within is high security.  In addition, it is not a retail office space where other tenants may come and go.  This is a secure facility where all areas are secure areas.

We offer high security while other merely offer a cage location with minimal protection.
